Can I claim my private health card benefits?

You can claim your private health fund rebate on the spot at Principal Podiatry. We have on-the-spot rebates available through our HICAPS terminal. All major health funds are rebatable. Simply bring your private health fund card with you to your consultation and we will do the rest.

Do I need a GP Referral?

No GP Referral is required.

Can I claim my EPC/Medicare benefits?

Your GP may refer you to Principal Podiatry through an Enhanced Primary Care Program. This is for people with chronic illnesses or complex care needs. If an appropriate care plan is in place, some patients may be eligible for an on-the-spot rebate.

Can I claim DVA or WorkCover benefits?

DVA Gold and White card holders may be eligible to discounted podiatry services. WorkCover benefits may be eligible with referral from your GP and WorkCover certificate.

What do I bring?

The shoes you wear most often. Medicare Card. Health Care Card / DVA Card / EPC referral if applicable. Any scans or x-rays related to your condition. Your regular running/walking shoes. Wear exercise gear or comfortable attire if attending for a Full Biomechanical Assessment.
